“Building formal descriptions of the mechanisms underlying human physiology will enable us to create medical computer programs with admirable diagnostic and therapeutic power. If the advice and corresponding justifications produced by such a program is acceptable, the physician — as the final integrator — could combine his or her expertise with that information. With the current constraints on our modern day health care system, this could provide substantial improvement in patient care.”
Our guiding principle

Our Mission

We’re the middleware between research and clinical care. We turn an idea from a lab or a clinic into real software people use, and what we learn from that use becomes the next idea. We run that loop without stopping, because that’s how patient care actually improves.

Meet the team

CoCharts was built by two people who care deeply about getting the next era of clinical software right — and have the technical depth to do it.

Shalom Asbell

Co-founder · MSc, Computer Science

Shalom worked through undergrad in his father Irwin’s clinic, on an EHR that turned simple tasks into paperwork. He has published distributed systems research at top conferences, and leads development at the fastest growing psychiatric nurse platform in the US. At CoCharts, he builds the systems that take that paperwork off clinicians’ hands.

Shahak Rozenblat

Co-founder · MSc, Computer Science

Shahak is an experienced software developer who completed his master’s at the intersection of machine learning and medicine. His published biomedical research spans wearable biosensors, non-invasive cancer monitoring, and deep-learning models for clinical imaging. At CoCharts, he brings that rigor to the models clinicians rely on.
